Senior Officer – Communication & Sustainability

• Read and interpret documents such as incoming and outgoing mail, government announcements and register these accordingly and process the distribution of these documents
• Ensure that the administration files are kept in a professional manner with an easy track document system in place and ensure that all original incoming documents are kept with the Administration Department
• Ensure 100% confidentiality of the distributed mail
• Communicate the company's policies to respective stakeholders
• Prepare organizational memos and manage internal and external communications
• Draft organization policies and procedures for reference
• Anticipate and prepare materials needed by the Supervisors or Managers/ Asst. Managers for conference, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls
• Ensure translation of documents from Arabic to English and vice versa
• Perform any other administrative function as required by Supervisors
• Ensure healthy relation is maintained with Government officials
• Responsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work area
• Ensure compliance with Fatal Risk Standards
• Ensure compliance with Safe Work Practices
• Ensure compliance with HSE policy
• Reporting accidents and ‘near misses’ in accordance with defined safety procedures

• To be the focal point for the CR MEA Region.
• Report to CR MEA Region progress and Feedback on issues.
• Attend CR Champion Network calls.
• Develop, Analyses and implement the BU’s CR plan including the development of KPIs.
• Organize and implement BU’s CR initiatives.
• Develop local CR calendar, themes and approach.
• Share good practice with BU’s, departments, regions and the global CR team.
• Communicate and inspire company's employees to get involved in CR – through BU meetings, seminars etc.
• Recognize and celebrate BU CR heroes.
• Get involved in CR behavioral change events, for example International Literacy Day, International Volunteering day etc.
• Represent the company externally at CR events.
• Provide data for the CR scorecard process
• Develop CR marketing material, for example, posters, fact sheets, videos
• Monitor and manage BUs charitable donations
• Collect data on monthly and an annual basis for CR MEA Region measurement.
• Send the CR Monthly reporting to the MEA CR Region on the 3rd of each month
• Develop the CR budget and ensure that expenditure is reported properly.
• Develop appropriate monitoring processes to report progress against the CR plan.
